Like all WordCamps, WordCamp Northeast Ohio region is entirely organized and run by volunteers. Our 2021 camp will be fully virtual, offering more folks than ever before the opportunity to attend and contribute!
Volunteering to help WordCamp Northeast Ohio run smoothly is a great way to get to know the WordPress community. No technical knowledge is required to volunteer. Most of the volunteer positions are simple browser-based tasks, and we’ll provide a training session to ensure everyone is up to speed. We encourage anyone to volunteer, no matter their experience or location, but we especially encourage Northeast Ohio locals who want to get more involved in our community.
- Emcees will introduce speakers and their sessions, and field questions from chat after their talk
- Chat Moderators will monitor live discussions and ensure all participants follow the WordCamp Code of Conduct
- WordPress Help Desk Volunteers will answer WordPress-related questions in our Slack channel. If you’d like to help with this, please let us know your experience with WordPress in the application below.
