WordCamp Northeast Ohio 2021 happened online. With the successful completion of WordCamp NEO, we bid thanks to all the volunteers for their hard work and efforts. This year WC NEO had 4 different type of volunteer roles such as:
- Emcee: Our Emcees were responsible for the introductions of each sessions and the Speakers. They would also facilitate the Live Q/A session after the regular talks and thank our speakers by formally wrapping up the sessions. We had a total of 5 Emcees this year. We thank them for their time and dedication.
- Chat Moderators: Our Chat Moderators were tasked not only to monitor the YouTube Live Chat Feed but also they were collecting notable comments and questions for the speakers at the end of their talks. We had a total of 5 Chat Moderators this year. We thank them for their time and dedication.
- Help-desk Support: Being a virtual WordCamp, our attendees joined the sessions from the official WC NEO website and the YouTube Live Stream. WC NEO 2021 also provided a dedicated Slack channel for everyone to network and communicate with ease. Our Help-desk Volunteers were tasked to answer general questions on the event and escalate other inquiries as required. This year we had a total of 5 Help-desk Volunteers. We thank them for their time and dedication.
- Graphics Team: Led by Sarah, our graphics team had Habibur Rahman as the UX/UI Specialist and Rahan Al Rashid as the Motion Graphics Expert for WordCamp Northeast Ohio 2021. We thank them for their time and dedication.
Additionally we thank Ruth Kalinka, Robert Windisch and everyone who helped facilitate the discussion groups in the Hallway Zoom followed by the Learn WordPress Workshops presented in the Contributor Track.
