With the successful completion of WordCamp NEO, we bid thanks to all the volunteers for their hard work and efforts. This year WC NEO had 4 different type of volunteer roles such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Emcee<\/span><\/strong>: Our Emcees were responsible for the introductions of <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/neo.wordcamp.org\/2021\/sessions\" target=\"_blank\">each sessions<\/a> and the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/neo.wordcamp.org\/2021\/speakers\/\" target=\"_blank\">Speakers<\/a>. They would also facilitate the Live Q\/A session after the regular talks and thank our speakers by formally wrapping up the sessions. We had a total of 5 Emcees this year. We thank them for their time and dedication.<ul><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/chaion07\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ahmed Chaion<\/a><\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/amethystanswers\/\" target=\"_blank\">Christina Workman<\/a><\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/volkswagenchick\/\" target=\"_blank\">AmyJune Hineline<\/a><\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/leedrozak\/\" target=\"_blank\">Lee Drozak<\/a><\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/joesimpsonjr\/\" target=\"_blank\">Joe A Simpson Jr<\/a><\/li><li>Zwelabo Maziya<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Chat Moderators<\/span><\/strong>: Our Chat Moderators were tasked not only to monitor the YouTube Live Chat Feed but also they were collecting notable comments and questions for the speakers at the end of their talks. We had a total of 5 Chat Moderators this year. We thank them for their time and dedication.<ul><li>Julie Sweany<\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/suzauddowla\/\" target=\"_blank\">Al Suzaud Dowla<\/a><\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/adrita\/\" target=\"_blank\">Adrita Chakraborty<\/a><\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/jilkabir\" target=\"_blank\">Jhilik Kabir<\/a><\/li><li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/profiles.wordpress.org\/mdsaifullahnakih\/\" target=\"_blank\">Md.Saifullah Nakih<\/a><\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Help-desk Support<\/span><\/strong>: Being a virtual WordCamp, our attendees joined the sessions from the official WC NEO website and the YouTube Live Stream. WC NEO 2021 also provided a dedicated Slack channel for everyone to network and communicate with ease. Our Help-desk Volunteers were tasked to answer general questions on the event and escalate other inquiries as required. This year we had a total of 5 Help-desk Volunteers.
