Call for Sponsors

The Northeast Ohio WordPress group has been around since 2016, bringing together WordPress enthusiasts from the Cleveland/Akron area, and some from as far as Columbus! We meet at least once a month to share knowledge and build connections.

Our volunteer team has been involved in our local WordCamp planning for years and last year we hosted our first livestreamed WordCamp!

We never expected our small college-town Camp to have thousands of viewers from across the globe. Pivoting to an online event was a rewarding challenge and we were happy to continue to provide opportunities for our community to interact with and learn from each other.

Last year’s successes would not have been possible without our generous sponsors. We truly appreciate the continued support we received despite the challenges that 2020 brought.

Our goal this year is to iterate on last year’s event, taking into account feedback we received as well as incorporating new and exciting ideas. We hope to provide an interactive online experience for WordPress users of all levels and backgrounds.

Requirements

In order to keep a safe and welcoming environment, we require all participants to follow our Code of Conduct. Sponsors must comply with WordCamp guidelines for promotional materials and the use of the WordPress name and trademark. Those guidelines are available in the community handbook.

If you want to get involved in our community by sponsoring, we have three options to choose from.

Sponsor Levels

$1,500 Gold – Limit of 3 – Sold Out

  • Scheduled programming (more info to come!)
  • Link to page in Sponsor drop-down menu
  • Rich content on page (guidelines TBD)
  • Brief introduction during remarks
  • Large logo placed on the site
  • Logo displayed in between online sessions (dedicated slide)
  • Blog and social media posts introducing your business as a sponsor

$1,000 Silver – Limit of 4 – 3 left!

  • Rich content on page (guidelines TBD)
  • Brief introduction during remarks
  • Medium logo on site
  • Logo displayed in between online sessions (dedicated slide)
  • Blog and social media posts introducing your business as a sponsor

$500 Bronze – Limit of 5 – 2 left!

  • Small logo on site
  • Logo displayed in between online sessions (shared slide)
  • Blog and social media posts introducing your business as a sponsor

Megan is an Ohio-based web developer and community builder. She was a WordPress Community Team Rep for some of 2022 and is also on the WordPress Incident Response Team. She previously co-hosted a WordPress development podcast called In The Loop. When not at a computer, Megan enjoys competitive swimming, reading, and spending time with her pets.
